The 2015 Sony World Photography Awards
The world we live in today is so visual, and with the help of our smartphones, almost anyone is capable of taking a breathtaking photograph. Sony thought of the brilliant idea to host a picture contest that would award the best "smart phone photographers" out there. With 96,000 entries, from contestants of all ages, all over the world, covering a wide range of subjects, the winning photographs are absolutely stunning. The sixteen photos that were awarded are snapshots from our everyday lives, which makes these photos unique because they captured moments that would otherwise have gone unnoticed.
