Tangram Takes Two at Sportel Rio with NBA and NFL

After the success of the 2012 SPORTEL in Brazil, sports media leaders around the world gathered in Rio de Janeiro today for SPORTELRio. Iconic Rio will host the upcoming 2016 Olympic Summer Games and 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Rio’s luxurious Hotel Sofitel Copacabana will host SPORTELRio until 13 March. SPORTEL’s 24-year history of business markets makes it the world’s “must-attend” meeting for sports media professionals.

“Choosing Rio as the venue for the “small” SPORTEL "last March was a full success,” Vice President Sales Audio/Visual Rights of DFL Sports Enterprises GmbH Kay Dammholz said after the 2012 SPORTEL in Rio. “We were impressed not only with the charms and beauty of Rio and its people but especially with the number of high-calibre SPORTEL participants from all over the world.”
