Sit Back, Relax, and Enjoy the Next 4 Minutes

It took filmmaker, Simon Christen, two years to capture four minutes of the breathtaking view of the fog whipping and whirling through the San Francisco Bay area. Christen woke up every morning at five am for those two years, to see the weather conditions for that day, determining if they were worth the 45 minute long drive to his filming destination, in Marin Headlands. If he felt the weather conditions were worthy enough, he would make the drive, and if lucky he would capture a few seconds of usable, beautiful footage.
Along with the fog, which looks like is swallowing up the city right in its path, occasionally the sunset and sunrise was featured as well, producing remarkable color schemes. The soundtrack which is featured in the video is the song Adrift by The Album Leaf.
