Portland: We Don't Need You Any More

Don't get me wrong PDX, we still love you. We love visiting our clients at Nike​, Adidas and long time collaborators Skylab Architecture. We love the Rose Garden, the Japanese Garden, The Douglass Firs, Mt. Hood and Multonomah Falls. We love the food and the custom crafted cocktails. And we love the coffee.

​Frankly its all I can do not to chug two triple lattes from Stumptown Coffee when I visit Bridgetown. My suitcase is redolent with a central american blend when I return. I pack light so I can load up on Stumptown beans.

But now, Stumptown has opened its third New York location, and its likely my suitcase wont need to be packed with beans anymore.  Here's a great article in the Times!

So, we still love you Portland, its just we don't NEED you so much!​
