NETFLIX EXPLORES 8 DESIGNERS WHO SHAPE THE WORLD AROUND US

Netflix dives into the world of design in their new eight-part series, Abstract: The Art of Design. A beautifully shot and styled documentary series that follows the lives of some of the most influential and creative designers of our time. Ranging from graphic designers to architects to product designers, the series explores their unique creative processes, their work, and the profound impact it has had on the world around us. 

Tangram's favorite episode is...you guessed it... "Tinker Hatfield" (episode 2). Tinker is an iconic American designer and Vice President of Design at Nike. Responsible for some of the most recognizable shoe designs in the world, Tinker has played a major role in elevating the Nike brand into the apparel powerhouse it is today. It is truly amazing to get a small glimpse into his creative process, which is in essence, a mini masterclass on the skillful combination of form and function.
